Both hold degrees in physical education and together they expand their studies in various dance genres while specializing in teaching Brazilian Zouk. Larissa is trained in classic ballet and has been dancing since the age of four. Rick began his Zouk journey in 2006 and since then has been working on precise methods to effectively teach Zouk to students of all ages and abilities. Rick and Larissa have developed a philosophy which they call "Dance for Her" – meaning more care with follows. Through this philosophy, their Zouk techniques are focused on a softer and more comfortable connection and movements for follows and leads, allowing more fun and playfulness during zouk dance for everyone.
