Oakland Obon Festival 2019
Each year, the Buddhist Church of Oakland hosts an Obon Festival, a family-friendly Japanese cultural celebration. The festival features Bon Odori dancing, taiko drum performances, traditional music, a tea ceremony, Japanese flower arranging, childrens games and more. There is also an assortment of authentic Japanese food and delicious pastries for attendees to fuel up on after dancing the day away. More Info below.
