Art In The Dark 2019

Art in the Dark, one of San Antonio's most unique events, is held each summer in June at the Witte Museum in San Antonio. Proceeds from the event benefit the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind, a Blind Children's Education Program. This special evening includes art displays paired with food and wine, art discussions and musical entertainment provided by visually-impaired employees including the San Antonio Lighthouse Choir. Local artists donate their work, and guests peruse the pieces as if they were blind - no visual viewing of the art is permitted, only touching and inquiries to the artists in attendance.
