Orbital Open Air | Horus 2019

The Eye of Horus is a symbol from Ancient Egypt. Among its many meanings and uses , the most common and generic are those of power and protection , in addition to the relationship with Horus , the god of the pharaohs. It is one of the most popular Egyptian amulets of all time. According to the Egyptian myth , the left eye of Horus symbolized the moon and the right , the sun. During a duel shortly after the formation of the universe , the god Seti tore the left eye of Horus , which was replaced by this amulet. As the amulet did not give him full vision , a serpent was also placed on his head. After recovering , Horus organized new battles that led to the decisive victory over Seti. The amulet then came to represent the union of the human eye with the sight of the hawk , symbolic animal of Horus. More Info below.
