Creative And Rhythmic Movement, For Grades K-2 (Spring 2019 Session, Wednesdays, Fishtown)

This movement class is both creative and technical. Students will be exposed to movement from many styles including hip-hop, ballet, folk, and modern dance to develop skills in coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, rhythm, and expressive qualities. We’ll have lots of fun while being ourselves, appreciating each other, and working together. Classes take place at Philadelphia Tango School, located at 2030 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125 on the block between Norris and Suquehanna. This 1 hour class happens 4:15-5:15pm on Wednesdays, March 27 - May 15 for this 7-week Spring session. There will be no class on 4/17/19. This class is open to all genders. Street shoes are not permitted. Dance shoes are optional. Flexible pants that cover knees and shirts that cover shoulders are ideal. Fantastic costuming is permitted as long as it doesn't impede movement. Questions: Email [hidden] More Info below.
