Bozzi Marva Sings and Plays Residency at Bite Flatiron, every Friday 7-9! He will sing and play Jazz Standards and songs from the Great American Songbook, Swing tunes and more, in the vibe of Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and more. Bozzi (Boaz) Marva is a guitarist, singer, composer and arranger. He has grown up in a musical family and studied at the Charles E. Smith High School for the Arts in Jerusalem, Israel as a teen. He has later played and/or co composed in many projects and bands, Including Kivsus, Abrage, Scarcity, Mania D' Pressia, The CJS big band, and more. Since coming to New York City in late 2016 he has been surrounded and taught by some of the bigger names in the scene such as Sam Yahel, Doug Weiss, Peter Bernstein, Reggie Workman, David Schnitter and many others. He has also joined Dor Sagi's Band SAGE in 2018 and performs around town with her group, and will soon go into recordings. In 2018 Boaz Graduated his BFA from The New School in Jazz Performance.
