4th Saturday Swing Featuring Cuarteto Puentes Plus Dance Lesson With Ashvin Iyer!

Doors at 7:30 pm; Dance Lesson with Ashvin Iyer at 8:00 pm; Show at 9:00 pm A Swing at Ashkenaz Production This Live show at Ashkenaz will be presented in a traditional Argentine Tango dance setting, a Milonga. Karen Lile and Michael Arntz have presented Cuarto Puentes as the opening act for Otros Aires at the Great American Music Hall and at traditional milongas in private clubs in San Francisco. Formed in 2015 by four Bay Area dancers/musicians, Cuarteto Puentes is dedicated to performing Argentine Tango music for dancers and audiences of all kinds. They have studied at Reed Tango Music Institute, Stowe Tango Music Festival, and with top tango musicians including Ignacio Varchausky, Ramiro Gallo, Hernan Posetti, Hector del Curto, Pablo Estigarribia, Emilio Solla, Adam Tully, and Ville Hiltula. The quartet appreciates the opportunities they have had for outstanding collaborations with exceptional artists at a number of unique venues. Their enthusiasm for playing danceable tango standards as well as more modern arrangements keeps them busy with practicing, studying, arranging, and composing. Michael Arntz will DJ between Cuarteto Puentes' live sets. More Info below.
