Louder Than A Bomb: The Chicago Youth Poetry Festival

Louder Than A Bomb (LTAB) is the largest youth poetry festival in the world. LTAB is an annual event hosting over 1,000 youth poets for a month of Olympic-style poetry bouts, workshops, and special events. Students representing schools and community groups in the Chicago area perform original solo and group poems in a tournament-style competition. From all of us at Young Chicago Authors: thank you for making LTAB 2018 a successful festival! LTAB poets must be 12-19 years of age and enrolled in a middle school, high school, or sponsored by a community organization in order to compete. Each Team must have a minimum of 4 poets and may enter up to 10 poets. Registration Fees for Teams range from 150-250, depending on how early you register.
