Co-Ed Salsa Dance Class

It's time to cash in on those NYE resolutions. If your resolution included learning something new, fun and exciting, socializing and being more active and enriching your life? What better way to accomplish all these things than during a fun salsa class? Register now, you are encouraged to sign up for all 6 dates as you will learn something new in each class. Not only do we teach amazing dance techniques and cool moves to show off on the dance floor, but we incorporate the true therapeutic power of dance and music which has a wide range of physical and mental benefits [hidden] condition of your heart and lungsincreased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitnessincreased aerobic fitnessreduction in stress and anxietyweight managementbetter coordination, agility and flexibilityimproved balance and spatial awarenessincreased physical confidenceimproved mental functioningimproved general and psychological well beingreduction in stressgreater self-confidence and self-esteembetter social skills.This is a progressive dance class so you will learn and improve each week with new steps, techniques and lead and follow tips and tricks as well as dance etiquette. Previous dance experience or partner are not required to take the class. The class is FREE for anyone currently serving in our nations military, veterans and first responders & immediate family members. Anyone else wishing to take the class, a $10 donation per class is requested to help cover the cost of the program. Dance partners are not required, although if you chose to, you may bring a dance partner regardless of military or first responder background free of cost to you or your partner.Classes begin on Thursday January 10th and every Thursday after that, through Feb 28th (Tentatively No Class February 7th and 14th)There is a full service bar on location. You may arrive as early as 6:30pm. and stay after class and practice with your partner or other students.
