Rebel City Swing 2018

We are so excited to bring you Rebel City Swing 2018, back for its 3rd year! This year the festival will run November 16-18, 2018. Teachers: Stefano Giulia from Turin, Italy! Check them out here. Kuno Gosia from Copenhagen, Denmark! Check them out here. Levels and Registration: There will be three streams and registrations opens on July 23rd at 1pm. At that stage, we will only be accepting couple registrations (one lead and one follow). If you can't find a partner, use the Facebook event page to seek someone out. Closer to the event we may accept single registrations, however we have very limited capacity, so I wouldn't wait too long to book if I were you. Each stream will have 6 hours of classes Swingin' Sergeant: At this level, you're comfortable will all the basics. You've been dancing over a year. You're looking for fun and flashy moves to add to your repertoire, as well as help bringing your leadingfollow skills up to scratch. Lindy hoppin' Lieutenant 1 2: At this level, you've attended more workshops and festivals than you can count. You've been dancing over 3 years. Leadingfollowing is second nature but you know there's always so much more to learn. You aren't afraid of working on your technique and going back to basics. There will be an audition at 9am on Saturday morning to divide this level into 2 groups. Class Timetable: More details to come soon... each stream will receive 6 hours of classes. Evenings: Our super special venue for Friday and Saturday evenings... the Kino! Live music from the amazing Riff Raft both nights. Sunday will be a relaxed tea-dance, where we'll wind down the weekend. More Info below.
