Erin Malley and Doruk Golcu return to Seattle! Fresh off their second international tour, Erin and Doruk join us in Seattle from 3/1 - 3/8 for a week of workshops, classes, performances and much more! Protoges of Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Erin & Doruk offer their own signature style melding elegance, humor and intensity. Dance Underground 3/4 & 3/5 Workshop Pricing $25 one class $40 two classes $60 three classes $80 for the entire weekend Schedule: Wednesday, 3/1 - Erin and Doruk are special guests at the Om Culture Tango Reunion Throwdown! For their first night in town, Erin and Doruk with teach an all levels class 8-9pm on "The use of tone and presence in role exchange". Erin will rock Seattle from the DJ booth - come early and then stay late for a unique performance from both dancers! Thursday, 3/2 - Erin and Doruk take over Belltown Dance Studio! Erin and Doruk will be teaching Koa and Jennifer's usual Thursday night classes, one night only. 7:20-8:20 101 class. 8:30 - 9:30 intermediate class on SACADAS! Special drop in rate is $20/$15 with student ID. Friday, 3/3 - Advanced Rhythm and Phrasing. Contact Jennifer if you are intererested in this 2 hour int/adv class limited to just 6 couples/12 dancers. $30 individual/$55 couple. Pre reg only Saturday 3/4 & Sunday 3/5 - All level workshops, pre-milonga class and performances at DU. Workshop pricing: $25 for just one class, $45 for the entire day or $90 for the weekend. Sat 3/4 2pm- Moving with and without the partner 3:45pm - Flexible embrace 8:15PM-9:15PM - Special pre-milonga class with Erin & Doruk 9:30PM-1:00AM - Saturday night milonga at DU, featuring a special performance by the artists Sun 3/4 2pm - Dynamic moves for small spaces 3:45pm - Distinct speeds of the turn and corridas Monday 3/5 - Privates Tuesday 3/6 -Erin DJ's the Century Ballroom. From 9-12, Erin will mastermind the tunes behind the Century's popular Tuesday night practica. Bio Erin Malley & Doruk Golcu are an internationally touring teaching couple. Partners on the dance floor and in life, they have been dancing together since 2004. They are known for their smooth dancing, unique musicality, and connection to one another. Erin and Doruk are generous teachers, known for the approachable way that they share their knowledge of both the body in motion and the structure of the dance.
